Our Experience Is Focused on Evidence That Can Withstand Courtroom Examination
Dean Tong's entry into forensic trial consulting grew from direct experience with false accusations. That experience later developed into decades of professional work examining allegations, investigative records, psychological concepts, and forensic interviews.
He holds a combined Master of Science degree in Psychology and the Law in Child Forensic Studies from the Universities of Portsmouth and Leeds in the United Kingdom. He is also a registered and certified child forensic interviewer through the National Association of Certified Child Forensic Interviewers.
Since 1995, he has responded to thousands of inquiries involving divorce, contested custody, child abuse allegations, parental alienation, failure to protect allegations, disputed investigative practices, and related forensic concerns.
His work has included cases across all 50 states. He has also testified as an child abuse expert witness approximately 80 times in 20 states in matters involving psychology and social science, with particular emphasis on child forensic interviewing and abuse investigations.
His professional work also includes authored publications, peer-reviewed material, media appearances, and continuing analysis of false allegation cases.
Indigent Services
Court Approved Expert Support for Qualifying Defense Cases
For qualifying cases in which an accused person has been declared indigent or in forma pauperis, Dean Tong has worked within approved public funding arrangements in selected jurisdictions.
His experience includes Justice Administrative Commission-approved matters in Florida and qualifying cases in Arizona and Missouri involving criminal or juvenile proceedings. Availability and funding depend upon the jurisdiction, court approval, case circumstances, and applicable procedures.

Contested allegations require attention to both the evidence supporting the accused and the reliability of the process through which accusations were developed.
Prove Innocence Through Relevant Evidence
The first component focuses on affirmative evidence. Depending upon the allegations and circumstances, qualified psychological or psychosexual evaluation may form part of a broader defense strategy.
